My Purpose<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I became an editor because I love to read and I hate to see\na great story spoiled by confusing language, incorrect grammar, spelling\nmistakes, and inconsistent punctuation. My goal is to help authors convey their\nideas clearly to their audience in a readable and engaging way. I am always\nmindful of preserving the author\u2019s voice while removing roadblocks for the\nreader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My Qualifications<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

With proficiency in Chicago, AP, and Bluebook styles, I can\nedit a wide range of texts. I hold a Certificate in Editing from the University\nof Chicago Graham School, a JD from Temple University Beasley School of Law,\nand an MA in Psychology from Indiana University. I am a member of the Editorial\nFreelancers Association and the American Copy Editors Society, and regularly\ntake advantage of continuing education offerings from those organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An avid reader since childhood, I enjoy many genres of\nfiction and nonfiction.
